Building Service Contractor Sponsorship Program

Cleaning For A Reason is THE non-profit of the cleaning industry. We are the largest, nationally recognized, non-profit organization in the cleaning industry, also serving in Canada. Our mission is to provide free home cleaning services to women undergoing treatment for cancer. We were founded in 2006 and currently have over 1058 partners that service the entire United States and Canada. We have helped over 10,000 women with cancer.

We partner with residential cleaning companies as well as commercial cleaners. Our residential cleaning partners donate their services to clean for women with cancer. Our residential partners pay a monthly pledge to help provide patients with free house cleaning and provide about $1200 of free cleanings annually. However, since building service contractors do not traditionally clean residential houses, we don't ask them to. Our sponsors make a completely tax-deductible annual pledge.

We are not a cancer research organization. There are plenty of cancer research organizations out there and quite a few do a great job. Our mission is to simply serve those who are in need right now and affect patients positively on a face to face level. Our purpose is, "until there's a cure . . . Cleaning For a Reason." Every dollar goes to program costs of providing free cleanings to cancer patients.

What Are The Benefits For A Commercial Cleaning Program?

  The First and Most Important Benefit: Our building service contractors and their staff enjoy the personal satisfaction that comes from supporting a foundation that assists thousands of women, allowing cancer patients to focus on their health. This is an immeasurable reward both for your business and the women they support. Residential partners and commercial sponsors really make a difference in the lives of the women they help.

There are a number of other business benefits worth mentioning:

• Your business will recieve recognition just like some of our other sponsors like Proctor & Gamble and Wal-Mart as well as many other name brand sponsors. They use us to promote their causes and it is a great way to get your BSC marketed as well.



• The foundation logo is available for your use on your website, business cards, commercial bids, and advertising. Our logo will distinguish and brand your business as one that gives back to the community.



• We'll also link to your email and website from ours as a way of promoting you. In the future, Cleaning For A Reason will have a separate section in which everyone who comes to our site can see who you are and where you work. It's one way to network while giving back to the women who need organizations like ours.



• Cleaning For A Reason can help support your marketing team: In the future, you will receive a 'Welcome Packet' with marketing material that will explain what you are doing with Cleaning For A Reason. These materials will be appropriate for insertion into bids, media, and your website distinguishing your business from others as a business that gives back to the international community.
  
        - In that welcome packet will be information from other BSCs that continually leverage their immense success in the commercial cleaning industry with our foundation. This is a very effective way to market your business by identifying with a cause that everyone wants to know about.
  
        - We recommend that you attach your business card to these items and pass them to current clients, your local cancer community, as well as areas you are targeting to market your business.
  
        - We also recommend that you add any and all materials about our foundation in your bids. You may order as much of this material as you can put to good use; there is no charge for the materials.


• We offer the ability to produce Cleaning For A Reason specific press releases which you can send to news organizations, announcing your partnership and highlighting your commitment to giving back to the community. We have many examples of businesses using press releases and ads that talk about us.
  
  In fact, Tom Heveron of Beachland Cleaning Service from Vero Beach, Florida continues to use Cleaning For A Reason to leverage his business in his bids, advertising, and in his company's community.
  
  Another partner, Professional Building Services from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania recently ran a two page ad in the Philadelphia Business Journal which included Cleaning For A Reason. Both Beachland Cleaning, Professional Building Services, and our other BSC sponsors have had tremendous success with us. We have cleaning services send us media daily about how they've not only helped so many women with cancer, but also how their media coverage have greatly increased their business.



• We also have many other benefits that are being discussed as this new program kicks off and will launch things throughout the year to benefit our BSC sponsors who help us take care of the women who need us so much right now.
